Best In Show Award
A rotating silver tray given by Mrs. Susan Earley to the
clubwoman having the best overall entry in the local Arts
Festival according to the judges at the festival. |

This is a rotating silver bowl given by
Mrs. Penny Rose. Given to the clubwoman who the president
feels has been the most helpful to her during the year; or to a
club member who is deserving of special recognition for her
services or contribution to the club. |

Carole C. Everette Award
A rotating silver cake stand give to the
clubwoman who has been in the club less than twelve (12) months
and has contributed the most to the club. This person will
be chosen by the President or by the President and the Executive
Board. This is an annual new member award given by Mrs.

Junior Pitcher Award
This is a Department and/or Committee
Award. A rotating solver water pitcher is given to the
Department or Committee which has done the most outstanding work
and/or achievement in the club throughout the year. The
award was given by Mrs. Rita Myers Bulla in honor of her mother,
Mrs. Gertrude Myers, a past Junior and Charter member of The
Ahoskie Junior Woman's Club. |

Rita Myers Bulla Award
A Jefferson Cup given to the clubwoman who
has made the greatest contribution to the quality of life and
the entire Ahoskie community during the calendar year,
specifically in the areas of education and conservation. |

Kim Britton Friendship Award
A Baldwin Brass Irish Claddagh Christmas
ornament, representing love, loyalty, and friendship is given to
the club member who goes above and beyond to be a loyal member
with a positive attitude and a smile. Given in memory of
Mrs. Kim Britton, former member, whose qualities are represented
by the Irish Claddagh. Kim never met a stranger, greeted
everyone with a smile and a kind word and was a loyal member of
the AJWC. The first award (2004) was given by Mrs. LouAnne
Joyner, former member of the AJWC and a close friend of Kim.

Angela Early Leadership Award
The purpose of this award is to promote leadership.
It is an award to be presented annually
to a clubwoman, other than the President, who through her active
and faithful services, has made the greatest contribution to her
club during the current year.
This non-rotating silver tray was given
by Mrs. Angela Early until her death, and is now given by Mrs.
Harriet Byrum.

District 9 Outstanding Junior Clubwoman Award (Linda G.
White) This award is
given annually to honor a Junior clubwoman who has given of her
time, talents, interest, organizational efforts and active
participation to render outstanding service through GFWC,
GFWC-NC and her local club.
The judging is based on accomplishments
during the previous year, January 1 to December 31.

District 9 Outstanding Clubwoman Award (General & Junior
Clubwoman) To the
individual clubwoman of the District who through her activities
and faithful services has made the greatest contribution of her
local club during the previous year, January 1 to December 31.
The award is not open to Club Presidents
during their term in office.

Bryant Citizenship Award (Juanita Martin Bryant)
This award is to recognize a clubwoman for outstanding
work in citizenship and patriotism.
The award is given annually, and the
judging criteria is based on accomplishments during the previous
year, January 1 to December 31.
